I am on the Atkins Diet, and I am in the first stage. If you even cheat just a little tiny bit, will it seem like you gain like 1 lb on the scale (say a cookie foe example)??? Please help me out !

Even if you cheat and gain a few ounces it will come off the next day. I think that all of us when we are dieting just have to have a treat every now and then.

no. it will just take longer for you body to get rid of all the carbohydrates and begin burning fat as fuel. i’ve dont atkins 2 0r 3 times, but never last longer than 2 weeks. i enjoy the feeling in my body when i do it though, feels energetic and soooo light.
I used to be on the Atkins diet and successful 4 years ago. Now today I cannot do it. I fail each and every time cuz im older and I have kids now.
But you hang in there you can do it.
Atkins isn’t the best diet to be on. If you want to do something similar to that, you should do the South Beach Diet, since you are allowed some carbs, and you do need the carbs. Not to mention, you can have cookies in phase 1. The only reason I say atkin’s isn’t the best, is because it really limits some of the foods that are really good for your body, and that will actually help you lose more weight. Good luck!
Cheating will throw you out of ketosis and cause you to retain water, which may make your weight go up.
Best to simply avoid cheating.
