I am about to try the master cleanse diet but I am not looking forward to the laxative, herbal tea or sea salt drink at night. Is it absolutely necessary?
If so what what brand of tea did you use?

My question again was about master cleanse and there have been some great answers

Yes it is necessary, it’s either that or an enema.

For teas, Super Dieter’s Tea or Smooth Move Tea by Traditional are the most common and easiest to find. But any senna based tea will do. I do not find it necessary to do both the sea salt drink and the laxative tea, one or the other is fine. And you probably won’t have to use it every day, by day 3 or 4, you really should have flushed everything out of you colon. This is gross, but when only liquid is coming out, you can ditch the laxative.
