Pritikin Recipes
I’m doing the South Beach diet, all is going well so far and I like it…the only thing is I have a husband and 2 boys who are not big fans of spinach omelets and turkey burgers. (imagine that!) I still have to make stuff for them, like last night we had bananas and pumpkin puree that needed to be used or thrown out, so I made them a really good bread (which I did not eat!) and tonight they want spaghetti, which is my favorite, and not unhealthy, but not part of my diet. Hubby offered to do the cooking, but it still sucks, I’ll eat bean sprouts or something equally wonderful while they have spaghetti and garlic bread.
Has anyone else done this? Any suggestions?

Eat more meat…tastes great (better than pasta) and fits with any high protein/low carb ‘diet’
and let him cook…that’ll help a little
and you can eat the homemade bread…just halve the sugar and eat a small piece
