Nathan Pritikin is an unacknowledged hero of dietary science. I met him in 1978 when he was opening a Pritikin Center in the Royal Inn Hotel, Point Loma, San Diego. This is one of his speeches from around that time. Part one of six, circa 1978. This was 30 years ago, when his ideas were considered revolutionary. It’s fun to listen to it now and realize how brilliant he was at analyzing and distilling facts into theory. Nathan gave his seminars at a low cost and was very open and eager to discuss food and dietary requirements.

Please note: When Pritikin died, his body was autopsied per his request. The results were published and he had the cardiovascular system of a teenager.
When Adkins died, his medical records were suppressed. We were told he slipped on ice. Later, with medical records revealed, he died of a heart attack. He was 40-50 lbs over weight and was taking high doses of statin drugs.
You make the choice!
