Okay so I had my son just over a year now and I still have some lingering body fat (I was 130lbs and hit 205 in my pregnancy) But now i’m 5’2 and 160lbs.
Honestly it fits my frame very nicely, no one believes my weight but i’m looking to shed some pounds. I never worked out prior to this. I am doing squats and lunges 2-3 times a week letting myself heal up between and i’m doing cardio at home(about 20-40mins) after researching a few videos on youtube.
I eat small meals daily, most of the time I cook up a bunch of lean chicken with light seasoning (no breading) and heat that up or add to salads. I munch on oranges, apples and I eat things like oatmeal for breakfast or some special K. Also, I drink loads and loads of water or 1% milk sometimes, never any soda’s or juice.
Well, this has been going on for about two weeks now and my weight hasn’t changed any. I’m not quite sure what I can do or if it’s just slow to start? Anyone have any tips for things I can do at home that doesn’t require equipment or any diet tips ?
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.
Well, I’m awake nights I wake up about 2-3pm and I don’t sleep until 7am, My husband works overnight so it got me in that schedule.
My question again was about diet cooking tips and there have been some great answers
Adipose tissue or body fat or what we call just fat is loose connective tissue composed of Adipocytes. FAT cushions and insulates the body, but its main role is to store energy. What we just normally know about FAT is that it is the main culprit in the case of obesity or being overweight by adding volume. But it has been found out that Adipose tissue also serves as an important endocrine organ by producing hormones such as Leptin, Resistin, and the Cytokine TNFa (TNF Alpha). What are Adipocytes? Adipocytes contain all the enzymes required for the metabolic processes modulated by hormones, cytokines and other molecules involved in energy metabolism. Besides Adipocytes, Adipose Tissue contains connective tissue matrix, nerve tissues, stromovascular cells, and immune cells. Together, these components function as an integrated unit. How does Adipose Tissue become involved in the production of hormones and other metabolic processes in the body? There are two kinds of Adipose Tissue. The WAT or White Adipose Tissue and the BAT or Brown Adipose Tissue. It is the White Adipocytes that are very active in the synthesis and secretion of endocrine, paracrine and autocrine signals in the body. Several of these signals participate in the network of signals which regulate functions in different cell types located in different organs such as hypothalamus, liver, pancreas, and skeletal muscles. Through this interactive network, Adipose Tissue is integrally involved in coordinating a …
Quite a few people are now turning to less expensive and natural green tea weight loss plans to aid them in their efforts for weight loss. This is a very simple solution too. Like any other tea,Green tea can be drunk usuallly without the need for milk or sweeteners, or if you do not like the taste you can purchase green tea extract.
Recent studies have shown that Green tea will aid in the reduction of weight by stimulating the body’s thermogenesis process, which increases the expenditure of energy and the oxidization of fat in the body. Many compounds discovered in plants have this effect. The difference in green tea is that it does not speed up the heart rate, and is therefore believed to be safer than diet pills such as ephidrine that also work by stimulating thermogenesis.
A lot of people who are overweight have or are at run the risk of a development of hypertension and other possible cardiovascular problems, so the fact that green tea does not put pressure on the heart makes it a good choice. Ephidrine is not usually recommended if you are in this group but green tea is considered a safe option. Because the fact that green tea reduces your risk of heart problems, you can gradually increase your exercise levels to a safe level.
There are only two ways to lose weight: one way is by eating less (consuming fewer calories) and the other is by increasing expenditure of energy (using up more calories). Green tea works by increasing output and this can be as much as 4%. Most scientists believe that this is caused by the high quantity of catechin that is found in the tea and its extract.
Green tea has the added benefit of containing powerful antioxidants that could be beneficial to your health in many ways, protecting against disease and strengthening the immune system.
Keep in mind that green tea does contain caffeine so you should cut out coffee and other forms of tea while you are taking it. Decaffeinated Green tea is not recommended because removing the caffeine with certain chemical processes may destroy the beneficial properties of the plant.
At the same time you will need to exercise control in what you eat. You will not lose any weight, If you consume more to compensate for the calories that are burnt by the tea. Keeping to the same calorific intake that you have now and taking Green tea should result in gradual weight loss and better energy levels over a few weeks. Of course you can increase the speed of this by reducing calorie consumption and/or increasing exercise.
Being an inexpensive weight control, yet simple and easy makes Green Tea easily be incorporated into any weight loss program. The decision between the tea or extract offers something for anyone. Safe and natural, green tea weight loss should be a feature in your weight lossprogram if you want to keep the weight off permanently.
