For Halloween, I either want to be an m&m, a pumpkin, any other candy, or a baseball (Mets) player. Any ideas where I could get the costume or ideas of items to put items together. Nothing over like 40 dollars. I fit into junior or adult sizes.

My question again was about fit over 40 and there have been some great answers

Why do we get less and less portions over the years, while the prices still go up?

Pritikin Recipes

Anything from candy like Starburst, to granola bars, we are slowly getting more ripped off. When I was young, I could get a pack of Starburst for 40-50 cents and they were big squares of chewy goodness. Now days, they cost a dollar and are also much smaller quares. Also, clearly you can fit 16 granola bars in a box labeled for 10. I understand packing a little air in a bag of chips so we don’t end up with all broken chips, but the companies are getting ridiculous with it. Some of you older people may notice that the ounces marked on various products is lower now than years ago, yet the box is the same size and the price still goes up. Why?

EDIT ADDITION: I’m sorry, but by "portions getting smaller" I mean the amount they put in the packaging, not a "serving" that someone eats. To be honest, I don’t eat that much at all. I would lose eating contests.

What is a good diet? NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!!?

Pritikin Recipes

Yo, I’m 14 and i didnt really have a new years resolution until i realised my diet consisted of chips candy and starch… like seriously my friends mom made homemade stuffing tonight and I felt full and satisfied for the first time in about a month. And let me not forget that I have gained about 8 pounds over a 2 week holiday period. So My goal is to lose about 5 pounds. Anyone have any good diet tips or ways to resist sweets? Oh and some healthy dinner recipes would be nice. I’m pretty independent when it comes to cooking, so whatever you throw at me should be no problem at all…

My question again was about diet cooking tips and there have been some great answers

Are sugar-free cookies and snacks okay to eat during the induction phase of the Atkins diet?

Pritikin Recipes

I have been on the Atkins diet for 4 days now and I wanted to know if I can eat sugar-free snacks (ice cream, cookies, candy, etc.) during the induction phase.

If I do eat that, would it slow my results or change my results?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
