Any ideas to help?

I will eat small meals but I always have to eat a large one for dinner with my family

My mom usually cooks healthily so that is not a problem

I ama picky veggie eater but I eat a salad a day

I love fruit but I try not to eat too much or its bad for you

So any tips?

I was thinking about running a mile everyday in the morning will that work?

I drink diet soda like 2-3 cans a day and 1 cup of coffee a day with splenda and no fat half and half

or did i eat too much?
i had:
4 oz of light dannon activia yogurt (70 calories)
1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of fiber one cereal, dry (160 calories)
1 can of collard greens, plain (88 calories)
1 cup of lima beans cooked in chicken broth and onions
1 piece of turkey ham (60 calories per 2 oz, 98% fat free) with a ton of lettuce and mustard
2 chicken breasts

i spread all these foods out throughout the day, and i also had a ton of water, and a glass of unsweetened, freshly brewed tea.
im 5’4”, 110 lbs. ive lost 20 lbs, losing the last few..
how many calories did i eat today? diet tips?

im a 16 yr old girl, 5’4”. ive lost 20 lbs, and im trying to lose the last few. ive been pretty good on my diet..i eat around 1200 calories a day. but i took 3 days off when i visited my grandma, and ate way too many sweets(cobbler, cake, brownies, gravy,sausage&biscuits, etc)..im trying to get back on track today…
so i had 10 large strawberries.
1 cup of mixed veggies (drained)
a salad(lettuce, medium tomato, a bit of celery, a bit of cucumber..no dressing)
then i had 150 calories of roasted garlic hummus, on a whole wheat pita muffin (100 calories)
then i had a slice of turkey (1/4 inches thick, 6” diameter…60 calories per 2 ounces..but im not sure how many ounces that was?) wrapped in lettuce and mustard

how many calories would you say i have eaten today? my mom made some vegetable stew for dinner..its cooked with meat in it..but if i only eat the veggies, will it be healthy, or will the juices from the meat still add calories? thanks!

ps. any diet tips, or advice, and low calorie recipes/snacks, etc are appreciated!!

Okay so I had my son just over a year now and I still have some lingering body fat (I was 130lbs and hit 205 in my pregnancy) But now i’m 5’2 and 160lbs.

Honestly it fits my frame very nicely, no one believes my weight but i’m looking to shed some pounds. I never worked out prior to this. I am doing squats and lunges 2-3 times a week letting myself heal up between and i’m doing cardio at home(about 20-40mins) after researching a few videos on youtube.

I eat small meals daily, most of the time I cook up a bunch of lean chicken with light seasoning (no breading) and heat that up or add to salads. I munch on oranges, apples and I eat things like oatmeal for breakfast or some special K. Also, I drink loads and loads of water or 1% milk sometimes, never any soda’s or juice.

Well, this has been going on for about two weeks now and my weight hasn’t changed any. I’m not quite sure what I can do or if it’s just slow to start? Anyone have any tips for things I can do at home that doesn’t require equipment or any diet tips ?

Well, I’m awake nights :-) I wake up about 2-3pm and I don’t sleep until 7am, My husband works overnight so it got me in that schedule.

I’ve been big my whole life, but right now I’m the biggest I’ve been since I graduated high school.

I currently weigh around 235 and 5’4"… I have a lot of muscle which I’ve always loved, but there is no denying, I need to lose weight.

The exercise thing, I’m working on, I know I need to be more active. I am lazy and that I’m trying to work on…

Right now, my boyfriend and I are living at his mother’s house so we can save up to buy our own place at the beginning of the year. It’s hard to actually cook dinner because we don’t want to impose on her, so all we have is a refrigerator and microwave. Not to mention healthy food is not cheap, especially when you are trying to save money.

I’ve been doing better on my portion sizes, but the bad food and bad habit of snacking is killing me… (Probably literally)…

Basically I need suggestions on diet tips for food that can be easily prepared, and even some exercise tips that could help me lose faster. I’d like to lose 40+ pounds by my birthday in September. (Aim high right?)
Ok, I mean meals.. I know what food is healthy for you… i.e.. Veggies, fruit, jello…

I want to actually eat a satisfying meal. Something that will make me feel good. I’m not going to eat some celery sticks and a cup of jello with a popcicle for desert… I need an actual meal.

Ive been on a diet, and have lost 30 pounds. Last few weeks though ive been slipping bigtime on the diet, im getting bored with the same old thing, and I hit a plateu and got frustrated about that too. I do excersise every day, along with having a job where im on my feet non stop and constantly moving. Anyone have any good diet tips to loose weight quick, not get bored, and get over this plateu I was on? Any supplements youve taken that help with weight loss and appetite control? Sugar cravings and chocolate are my biggest obsticales…I dont really have a problem eating healthy meals, when it comes to snacking though I have a hard time staying away from the junk! Another big problem I have is I dont really know how to cook healthy! Any EASY…QUICK recipies that are good? I’m thirteen and have been a vegitarian for about a year. I want to become a vegan, but my diet lately has been going down hill. I’ve been eating mc.donalds for breakfast bread and a cookie for lunch and taco-bell for dinner. Yo, I’m 14 and i didnt really have a new years resolution until i realised my diet consisted of chips candy and starch… like seriously my friends mom made homemade stuffing tonight and I felt full and satisfied for the first time in about a month. And let me not forget that I have gained about 8 pounds over a 2 week holiday period. So My goal is to lose about 5 pounds. Anyone have any good diet tips or ways to resist sweets? Okay i need diet tips real fast.My dad always like to cook greasy food but im on a diet he knows that and he cooks everyday. My uncle only cooks healthy stuff like vegtables and all that only like once in awhile.Can you tell me what to do about that. Now for exercising.Okay i excercise at 3 in the afternoon. I run warm up laps and stretch and jog 20 mins. Is this okay? Should i heat it up the intensaty or like any tips. I have eating problems too. I get like feirce cravings and i cant help my self.
