I just inherited her a few days ago. She spent 9 days in the house alone before anybody found her and she lost 20lb. But she is still over weight. Her owner fed her a lot of people food, and I’m have problems feeding her dog food. She can’t seem to eat kibble, and she won’t eat most wet foods. I want her to have a healthy diet so I’m going to start cooking her meat and veggies. Any tips on which would be the best for her, or any vitamins I should be adding into the food?

She has joint problems(we have medications for that) and has very weak legs. Can’t stand up on her own, but once she is up she can walk. I’ve been taking her on short walks and she’s been improving, I don’t have to lift her up the step to the house any more. And on top of that she has skin problems. She’ll bites at one spot specifically and it’s balled from it. I want to make sure she is happy and healthy.

I eat around about 700/750/800 calories per day and have been useing my treadmill for 2 hours when i get the chance, i hired out a treadmill i got it on the 5th this month and i have done 14hours and 40 minutes is this good?

I’m sick of been fat, im 140 pounds, i want that perfect body, i just wondering if im doing enough on the treadmill or do i need to cut my calories down even more? I see a little weight loss already.. on my bum and my belly and my face, not sure about my legs tho..

I’m 19 years old 5ft3 and 140 pounds. I used to be 154 pounds when i was 16 17 and thought i need to do something about my body weight as its botherd me. People call me fat. I have a big bum and big tights my waist is small i’d say. I want to be around 120 pounds.
I also am trying a special k diet, I eat special k cereal for breakfest lunch and a normal dinner.

I am 34 weeks pregnant, and I have gained 39 pounds so far. My doctor is not concerned because my blood pressure is low, blood sugar levels are normal, and all weight is in the belly & boobs. I still have a thin face and definite muscle tone in my arms & legs. I am not pigging out or eating crap (other than the occasional treat).

I know I shouldn’t focus on the weight, but it is hard when I am used to be fit & toned. At this rate, I am going to gain over 40 pounds, and it doesn’t matter what eat or how active I am :(

Have any of you gained over 40 pounds & not had that difficult of a time losing it? Could my weight gain be a lot of water retention? Any suggestions?

Also take heed to avoid anything that shows your arms, legs, chest, or neck, because to do so means you’re trying way too hard and attempting to compete with your daughter – or somebody’s daughter – if you have no children.

How come? I am 31 years old. I have two kids and have gained excessive weight after both of them. I had a cessarian with the first and natural with the second. I’m pear shaped so it’s mostly in my hips and buttocks. I have a desk job so I sit a lot and I’m always too tired feeling to work out at night. I’ve been on every diet under the sun to only gain it all back. I’ve tried numerous excersises also. Over the counter weight loss pills or energy pills give me a racing heart. When I do loose weight I get the saggy belly that hangs between the legs when I sit and bend so how would I be able to find out how would be the best way to loose weight effectivly for myself and my body type and keep the sagging away. Please help.

I’m a very picky eater but I want to go on a diet. I’m 5’2" and 125. I would ideally like to get to 115 or so, tone up, and eat healthier. I eat out a LOT though, like 2 meals a day…

Anyone know simple, easy to cook meals that are healthy? :)

Also any tips on good excercises that focus on legs (calves & thighs), tummy, and buttocks? Thanks. :)

okay, so I know almost everything there is to know about losing weight effectively. I love to give advice to people on how to lose weight. Am I in good shape? Hellz no! I am 50 lbs overweight and 21 years old in college. I know all this stuff about losing weight, yet I cannot apply to myself. Why am I not strong enough to do this? I can barely resist eating. I love food so much. Taco bell, pizza, quesadillas, hot pockets, cola, the list goes on. I am addicted to food, I eat when I’m not hungry because I crave the taste of it. I have asked for the strength to resist these temptations but to no avail. It seems hopeless that I will ever be average weight. I dont’ need weight loss advice per se…I need ways to become strong enough to resist my strongest temptations…any suggestions?
I should mention that I do get up off my butt and try to stay active, I’m not that lazy, it’s just that the amount of calories I am able to consumer is far more I can burn off at my activity level, in the shape I am in, I can’t do extremely heavy workouts, in fact running hurts my legs, any kind of weight training will deal a lot of pain, right now, I basically try to walk a lot, because it’s basicall what I can do right now without noticing bad side effects.
