I don’t like cooking or doing dishes much. For the last six months, I am on a mostly-fruit diet. I eat fruits for breakfast, and snacks. I have a big smoothie of fruits for lunch. But at night time I crave cooked food, and have regular food. Can anyone give me tips on some simple raw vegan recipes for night time, that doesn’t require elaborate recipes.

Any good salad or wraps thats easy to make and filling (and tasty)? Also I am considering buying a juice extractor, they seem pretty expensive, but am spending well over 0 at jamba juice every month, so may be a worthy investment? any thoughts on that?

I eat 3 meals a day but I eat A LOT of fruit instead of snacks. I pick at apples, bananas, grapes and other fruits all day long. Can this simply help me lose weight? What is fruit helps the weight loss process?

I don’t like cooking and don’t like doing dishes (too busy and lazy for that)…also I don’t like milk and milk products either. So am thinking of the raw vegan diet.

I am almost vegan now. I eat fruits for breakfast, fruits for snacks, fruit smoothies for lunch. Evening I have a slice of bread with peanut butter, and some carrot juice. My only problem is dinner….i eat a cooked meal for dinner.

Can someone give me some tips for raw vegan dinner, that doesn’t take much time to prepare? I am thinking of salad, but I am wondering if there will be enough protein in a salad. I don’t need much, currently am taking like 10-20 grams of protien a day (which is enough for me). So if someone can recommend an easy to make raw vegan dinner, that would help me out greatly (No more cooking…yay)

Haven’t tried almond milk will try that. Where do you get those recipes you mention? I will look it up. But I am too lazy to make something complicated…hope those are easy recipes :P

I am male, 23, and currently doing to Atkins diet.

My usual daily diet consists of –

Breakfast – Couple of slices of bacon
Lunch – Tuna and small amount of Mayo
Dinner – Fresh meat with Veg plus 1 diet coke.

No snacks, drinks lots of water and am exercising everyday. (Boxing, Football, Badminton and walking).

I currently weigh 17.5 stone and believe I need to be closer to 13.5.

Roughly how quickly can I expect to loose this weight on the above info?

Hey folks,

Here is the problem, I have a friend who has a very strange eating pattern. This has been going on for about three years and is finally getting to the point where I’m worried for her. I’ll start from the top… three years ago she was over weight and didn’t really care about what she ate. Then suddenly she saw the whole Special K cereal diet that soon became popular. During this diet she only ate three meals a day. Two meals would be the cereal with skim milk and the third would be dinner and it would be whatever she felt like having. After about a couple of months she noticed a big decrease in fat and began to start this diet hardcore. Now that she had been doing that diet for about 2 years this developed a mind set where she could only eat 2 small snacks and a big meal at the end of the night. I’ve noticed over time that she has grown fatigued easy and I think her diet has gone on for way too long. It’s just not healthy to eat like that! I talked to her about this and she says that she is overwhelmed with guilt if she eats more than three meals. I’m truly concerned about her health. Anyone have any ideas on how to break this mind set and change her diet?

I recently started the Atkins diet, and so far it’s been easy. I’ve heard that the first few days are a snap, but maintaining is the hard part. So I’m wondering if anyone has done it themselves, and has some good advice? I’m not overweight, I just want to get very trim for a cruise this winter with as little time in the gym as possible.

I work 16 hours a day, and rarely have time to cook breakfast, or lunch, and prefer to snack through out the day. What are good things to have around for snacks?

Any kinds of advice or even websites would be greatly appreciated!

Typical Day:

Breakfast – Honey nut cheerios
Lunch – Fat free yogurt and handful of blueberries
Snack – 3 pieces of melba toast and one laughing cow cheese wedge
Dinner – Lean Cuisine (I only buy ones that are under 280 calories)

I really want some variety – maybe someone has some great tips or advice for me?

I have decided to transition to a healthy life style for better living and weight loss.
