The first week I start the Atkins diet it seems like I gain weight or bloat the first week,why is that?

    The Atkins Diet will shock the body when carbs are withdrawn and the body flounders trying to replace its immediate energy needs. This may be the point that you feel bloated. When the body finally compensates for the sudden lack of carbs you will be hit with other problems, diarrhea, cramping, rashes etc.
